Abstract: This thesis is primarily intended to estimate the technical feasibility of an invention while also attaining product development as a project. A new cushioning FS blade with an integrated damping system (FSB-IDS), developed to reduce the vibration and acceleration of the impact. Development of FS equipment has mainly focused on skater performance enhancement by decreasing the weight of the equipment, and injury prevention has become a secondary objective. The product was designed and manufactured by Ondrej Spiegel and team previously and we did test with the sample they provided with the use of MTS Exceed machine and Finite Element Analysis. Our objective was to conduct compression test on the dampers in the FS blade. So, we used MTS machine and FEA analysis to do the compression tests of dampers. We also used Granta Edu Pack software for material selection. The methodologies utilized in the thesis are aligned with academic and industry procedures for carrying out this type of invention in accordance with product development. The introduction of figure skating blade, methodology, theory, and findings are the key sections of the thesis. Designs and calculations are part of the results. Finally, a conclusion, critical review, and appendices are included in this thesis.
