    Abstract : This paper examines the effect of institutional ownership on the capital structure of 325 Swedish companies between 1998 and 2012. We find that firms increase leverage as institutional ownership rises. This effect is more pronounced for firms with low market capitalization and those affected by adverse selection. READ MORE
