Network published positional imagery

Abstract: This Master thesis investigates how to create a C3 system for devices
connected to a common network. These devices may be low on hardware resources
and may have limited bandwidth. The thesis is concentrated at
techniques to provide the devices with information and how to give an
interactive graphical interface for the users. A prototype system using VNC
resulted in being useful for devices with low display resolution and low
hardware resources. The most interesting conclusion made is to not use the
same user interface and data transfer methods on dierent types of devices,
instead one should provide the best alternative to each type of device for
the best result.
