  1. 1. Exact eigenstates of the Inozemtsev spin chain

    University essay from KTH/Fysik

    Author : Simon Lentz; [2021]
    Keywords : Theoretical physics; Mathematical physics; quantum mechanics; many-body problems; spin chain; Inozemtsev; Calogero-Sutherland; Teoretisk fysik; Matematisk fysik; kvantmekanik; mångpartikel problem; spinnkedjor; Inozemtsev; Calogero-Sutherland;

    Abstract : This thesis deals with the following question: are there more eigenfunctions, other than the already known eigenfunctions, of the spin chain with elliptic interactions known as the Inozemtsev spin chain? The Inozemtsev spin chain interpolates between two quantum integrable spin chains, theHeisenberg spin chain and the Haldane-Shastry spin chain. Therefore it is interesting to explore eigenfunctions of the Inozemtsev spin chain in greater detail. READ MORE

  2. 2. Future-proofing Video Game Agents with Reinforced Learning and Unity ML-Agents

    University essay from Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för system- och rymdteknik

    Author : Pontus Andersson; [2021]
    Keywords : Reinforced Learning; Machine Learning; Unity; ML-Agents; Computer Agents; Agents; Behavior; Learning Environment; Machine Learning Toolkit; RL; ML; AI; Artificial Intelligence; Algorithm; förstärkningsinlärning; maskininlärning; Unity; ML-Agents; datoragenter; agent; beteende; inlärningsmiljö; ai; artificiell intelligens; algoritm;

    Abstract : In later years, a number of simulation platforms has utilized video games as training grounds for designing and experimenting with different Machine Learning algorithms. One issue for many is that video games usually do not provide any source code. READ MORE

  3. 3. Anyons in (1 + 1) dimensions and the deformed Calogero-Sutherland model

    University essay from KTH/Teoretisk fysik

    Author : Farrokh Atai; [2011]
    Keywords : Key words: FQHE; Anyons; Integrable many-body system; Deformed Calogero-Sutherland model;

    Abstract : This thesis deals with a conformal field theoretical treatment of abelian anyons in (1 + 1)-dimensions and their relation to the integrable Calogero-Sutherland models. We generalize previous work relating anyons to the Calogero-Sutherland model by showing that the correlation function of the anyon field operators corresponds to the eigenfunctions of the deformed Calogero-Sutherland model. 4. 4. Yang-Baxter equations for systems with boundaries and defects

    University essay from Fakulteten för teknik- och naturvetenskap

    Author : Mattias Andersson; [2009]
    Keywords : integrable models; algebras;

    Abstract : The Yang-Baxter equation appear in various situations in physics and mathematics. For example it arises as a consistency condition in integrable models. The reflection equation (boundary Yang-Baxter equation) is a generalization of the Yang-Baxter equation to systems with a boundary. READ MORE
