  1. 1. Digital Front End Algorithms for Sub-Band Full Duplex

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Institutionen för elektro- och informationsteknik

    Author : Midhat Rizvi; Khaled Al-Khateeb; [2023]
    Keywords : Adjacent Channel Leakage Ratio; Bit Error Rate; Clipping and Filtering; Crest Factor Reduction; Digital front end; Digital Pre-Distortion Error Vector Magnitude; Frequency Division Duplex; Power Amplifier; Peak to Average Power Ratio; Peak Cancellation Crest Factor Reduction; Sub Band Full Duplex; Self-Interference Cancellation; Signal-to-Interference Noise Ratio; Signal-to-Noise Ratio; Turbo Clipping; Time Division Duplex; Technology and Engineering;

    Abstract : Sub-band full duplex is a new communication scheme technology, where a single frequency band is partitioned into sub-bands for downlink (DL) and up-link(UL) transmissions, and both can take place simultaneously. The idea behind the sub-band full duplex development is to improve the throughput, and coverage and reduce the latency of the UL communication by allowing the UL reception during the DL transmission. 2. 2. The effect of disorder on the axial anomaly in a lattice model in 1 + 1 dimensions

    University essay from KTH/Fysik

    Author : Agnes Wattrang; [2023]
    Keywords : Axial anomaly; tight-binding model; semiclassical physics; correlated disorder.; Axial kiral anomali; tätbindningsmodell; semiklassisk fysik; korrelerad oordning;

    Abstract : This work investigates the effect of a disorder potential, that represents impurities/dislocations in the lattice, on the time-dependent signature of the axial anomaly in a one-band tight-binding model in one spatial dimension. The tight-binding model is solved numerically and the simulation results are compared with a semiclassical expression for the time-dependent axial density, n5(t), due to Nielsen and Ninomiya [1]. 3. 3. Spatial patterns in animal territoriality : competitive behaviour in a shell dwelling cichlid

    University essay from SLU/Dept. of Forest Ecology and Management

    Author : Samuel Malm; Ida Nordstrand; [2023]
    Keywords : Behavioural ecology; Edge effect; Neolamprologus Multifasciatus; Predation; Territoriality; Territory maintenance;

    Abstract : Sociality among animals is a common phenomenon which has both costs and benefits. More and more studies are published that uses shell dwelling cichlids as a proxy for other taxa because of their convenience when studying, unique evolution and large variety in species. READ MORE

  4. 4. The Effects of Clear-Cutting a Hemiboreal Forest on Local CO2 Fluxes in Norunda, Sweden

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskap

    Author : Mads Carlsen; [2023]
    Keywords : CO2 flux; Clear-cutting; Coniferous forest; Flux footprint; Sustainable forestry; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Abstract : As CO2 builds up in the atmosphere causing global climate change (IPCC, 2022) trees have become an international symbol of combatting this, and for good reason. Trees take up CO2 which as a result combats these changes, and when these trees are cut down fewer individuals remain to take up the CO2 that we humans emit (Chapin et al., 2011). READ MORE

  5. 5. Spatial Patterns for Potential Climate Voting

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Ekonomisk-historiska institutionen

    Author : Lovisa Garberg; [2022]
    Keywords : Public support; Climate politics; Electoral Geography; Voter’s Behaviour; Sweden; Climate change; Social Sciences;

    Abstract : The need to curb global warming is evident, and efficient climate policies are essential. But within the democratic context, public support for climate politics is needed to implement mitigation efforts. READ MORE
