AN OSQL APPROACH FOR CONTENT TARGETING IN ACMS

Abstract: This project was about establishing the scalability of Couchbase, a NoSQL database, and determining its suitability in a content management system(CMS). The work was conducted at Atex and consisted of developing a content targeting plugin for their CMS, which would use the previously mentioned database, but also their custom made Content API which could be used for Couchbase interaction. It was found th at Couchbase scaled very wel land that the API had some overhead. Both where,however, suitable for their purpose and in terms of scalability.
