Abstract: Arvegods armchair which has its roots in the sustainable design tradition, is a journey through the eternal appeal of locally sourced materials. Bringing inspiration from the enduring bonds we create with treasured items, the user incorporate handcrafted linen textiles that evoke sentiments of love and workmanship from generations. The design encourages users to incorporate their own stories into its fabric by recycling fabrics that hold personal narratives, which creates meaningful conversations and close relationships. As a result of this collaboration, the armchair becomes more than just a practical piece of furniture; it becomes a means of facilitating conversations and connecting us to our history while embracing the potential of sustainable design.
