The Impact of Agile Leadership on Individual Career Success and Mediating Effect of Interpersonal Trust

Abstract: When it comes to the long-term growth and success of an organization, agility in leadership seems to be a crucial management role where responsiveness and innovation are critical factors. Because of this, this research attempts to investigate the mediation role of interpersonal trust among coworkers in telecom companies as a means of determining whether or not an agile leader’s style contributes to employee career success in the workplace. This study combined a descriptive research strategy with a replicative quantitative survey research technique. Three factors were rated by those working in Pakistan's telecom industry. Data analysis was performed in SPSS. Agile leadership behaviors were shown to increase career success, Furthermore, interpersonal trust mediates the association between agile leadership and career success. Agile leaders' influence on their workers' career success is under-researched. To our knowledge, this is one of the first studies to investigate the link between agile leadership and the mediation role played by interpersonal trust in Pakistan’s telecommunication sector. This study provides new insight into the association between adaptive agile leadership, career success, and interpersonal trust via the perspective of effective telecommunications organization management in a Pakistan’s settings. Managers with high levels of agility used techniques such as collaborative decision making, creative problem solving, strong internal and external communication, and flexible response to change to advance in their careers. As the business landscape continues to shift, companies are searching for employees who are willing to go above and beyond. Using social exchange theory and existing literature, researchers investigated the relationship between trust and professional success among agile leaders, as well as possible interactions between agile leadership, individual career success and interpersonal trust.
