  1. 1. Initialization Algorithms for Coupled Dynamic Systems

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Matematik LTH

    Author : Labinot Polisi; [2017]
    Keywords : Functional Mock-up Interface; FMI; Co-Simulation; Coupled Systems; Parallel Computations; PyFMI; Mathematics and Statistics;

    Abstract : In this master thesis the consistent initialization problem is studied and three different algorithms were developed regarding the subject area - a graph algorithm used for solving the initialization problem, a parallel algorithm to enable parallel computations when solving the initialization problem and lastly a genetic algorithm used as a preprocessing stage for parallelization. The thesis is based on the Python package PyFMI, a high-level package developed by Modelon AB for working with models compliant with the FMI standard. READ MORE

  2. 2. Framework for Simulation of Coupled Systems by Aggregation

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Matematik LTH

    Author : Pukashawar Pannu; [2015]
    Keywords : FMU; FMI; Coupled systems; Aggregation; Aggregated systems; Coupled simulation; PyFMI; Mathematics and Statistics;

    Abstract : Complex systems can be described by coupling several standalone ODE problems that communicate with input and output signals. The need for simulating such systems has increased in recent years. READ MORE

  3. 3. A simulation environment for coupled systems of discontinuous ODE:s

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Matematik LTH

    Author : Teo Nilsson; [2013]
    Keywords : PyFMI; simulation; simulation environment; FMI; FMU; Teo; Nilsson; Mathematics and Statistics;

    Abstract : This thesis covers the implementation and usage of PyFMI 2.0, an enhancement of the already existing PyFMI, a Python based simulation environment for importing and solving discontinuous systems of ordinary differential equations with in- and outputs, so-called simulations of Functional Mock-up Units. In particular, PyFMI 2. READ MORE
