  1. 1. Increasing Trust in Software by Synthesizing Property-based Tests from Existing Unit Tests : A study on the expansion of existing test suites through the creation of property-based tests via invariants inferred from existing example-based unit tests

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Author : Richard Uggelberg; [2022]
    Keywords : Software Testing; Software Engineering; Test Improvement; Property-based Testing; Invariant Detection; Mjukvarutestning; Mjukvarukonstruktion; Testförbättring; Egenskapsbaserad Testning; Invariantdetektion;

    Abstract : Many software projects include an extensive suite of example-based unit tests. The examples in the test suite can be used as an implicit specification of the behavior of the software. Inferring invariants from these examples may aid in the creation of property-based tests. READ MORE

  2. 2. New Motor for Weather Shelter

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Produktutveckling

    Author : Elin Elfström; Mattias Neumann; [2022]
    Keywords : Weather Shelter; Docking; ASSA ABLOY; Product Development; Prototyping; Technology and Engineering;

    Abstract : The goal of this thesis has been to develop and evaluate a proposal as how to integrate a new motor system for the top horizontal roller of an ASSA ABLOY weather shelter. This required changes to the current system, both in hardware and software. READ MORE

  3. 3. Development of an event generator for antihyperon-hyperon pair production in antiproton-proton collisions

    University essay from Uppsala universitet/Kärnfysik

    Author : Vitor Jose Shen; [2022]
    Keywords : MC event generator; Antihyperon-hyperon pair; Antiproton-proton collisions; PANDA; ROOT; 4-vector kinematics; Angular distribution;

    Abstract : The goal of this project was to develop a lightweight Monte-Carlo (MC) event generator for hyperon pair production in antiproton-proton collisions, and demonstrate it in one of the hyperon decay reaction channels, which is collisions of proton and antiproton to lambda hyperon and anti-lambda hyperon, and they decay to antiproton-positive pion pair, and proton-negative pion pair. The prototype of this external MC event generator we presented here is based on the software framework of ROOT. READ MORE

  4. 4. Implementation and evaluation of a tool for automated testing of performance and resource consumption in Java

    University essay from Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för datavetenskap

    Author : Nils Johansson; [2022]
    Keywords : Software testing; Performance testing; Java;

    Abstract : Detecting performance issues in software systems is desirable and sometimes critical. In this thesis, a new tool is presented for the purpose of testing performance at a smaller scale. READ MORE

  5. 5. Effect of infill density on mechanical and fire properties of polylactic acid composites produced by FDM 3D-printing technology

    University essay from Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för samhällsbyggnad och naturresurser

    Author : David Aronsson Edström; Oskar Lundberg; [2022]
    Keywords : 3D-printing; FDM; PLA; fire; fire engineering; cone calorimeter; tensile test; UL-94;

    Abstract : 3D-printing is a new and upcoming manufacturing technique that can significantly reduce time and material losses in production. Fused deposition modeling (FDM) is one of the most commonly used 3D-printing methods for processing conventional thermoplastic polymers. READ MORE
