5G Security Issues: A Compilation with Industry Insight

Abstract: After a preliminary literature review regarding 5G security issues, there did not seem to be any suggestions or consensus regarding which of these issues should be resolved with a higher priority than others. This started the following project in which a delphi study as well as a more in-depth literature review were carried out in order to find what 5G security issues affected 5G as a whole. After performing four interviews with experts from three different companies that cover multiple industry sectors related to 5G, extra issues are added to the array of issues collected from the literature review. These findings could be usedfor further contact and to allow eventual ranking of the issues in order of priority. This can also lead to the discovery on whether the experts have had a consensus or not.
