  1. 6. Machine Unlearning and hyperparameters optimization in Gaussian Process regression

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Author : Matthis Manthe; [2021]
    Keywords : GDPR; Machine Unlearning; Data removal; Gaussian Process Regression; Product-of-Experts.; RGPD; Désapprentissage; Suppression de données; Gaussian Process regression; Product-of-Experts.; DSF; avlärningen; dataraderingen; Gaussian Process regression; Produkt-av-experter.;

    Abstract : The establishment of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Europe in 2018, including the "Right to be Forgotten" poses important questions about the necessity of efficient data deletion techniques for trained Machine Learning models to completely enforce this right, since retraining from scratch such models whenever a data point must be deleted seems impractical. We tackle such a problem for Gaussian Process Regression and define in this paper an efficient exact unlearning technique for Gaussian Process Regression which completely include the optimization of the hyperparameters of the kernel function. 2. 7. Accelerating longitudinal spinfluctuation theory for iron at high temperature using a machine learning method

    University essay from Linköpings universitet/Teoretisk Fysik

    Author : Marian Arale Brännvall; [2020]
    Keywords : Machine learning; longitudinal spin fluctuations; kernel ridge regression;

    Abstract : In the development of materials, the understanding of their properties is crucial. For magnetic materials, magnetism is an apparent property that needs to be accounted for. There are multiple factors explaining the phenomenon of magnetism, one being the effect of vibrations of the atoms on longitudinal spin fluctuations. READ MORE

  3. 8. Application of machine learning in 5G to extract prior knowledge of the underlying structure in the interference channel matrices

    University essay from KTH/Matematisk statistik
