    Abstract : This master’s thesis, through the use of linguistic landscape analysis, examines three neighbourhoods in the city of Malmö, Sweden (Västra Hamnen, Möllevången and Rosengård), in order to investigate how multilingualism, specifically as a consequence of globalization, is negotiated within public space.
