  1. 11. A Multi-Target Graph-Constrained HMM Localisation Approach using Sparse Wi-Fi Sensor Data

    University essay from KTH/Optimeringslära och systemteori

    Author : Simon Danielsson; Jakob Flygare; [2018]
    Keywords : Hidden Markov Model; Localisation; Wi-Fi Sensors; Forward-Backward Algorithm; Baum-Welch Algorithm; Machine Learning; Time Series Analysis.; Hidden Markov Model; Lokalisering; Wi-Fi Sensorer; Forward-Backward Algoritm; Baum-Welch Algoritm; Maskinlärning; Tidsserieanalys.;

    Abstract : This thesis explored the possibilities of using a Hidden Markov Model approach for multi-target localisation in an urban environment, with observations generated from Wi-Fi sensors. The area is modelled as a network of nodes and arcs, where the arcs represent sidewalks in the area and constitutes the hidden states in the model. READ MORE

  2. 12. Media Conversion From Webtoon To Television : A Case Study Of: I Sneak A Look At His Room Every Day and Flower Boy Next Door

    University essay from Stockholms universitet/Avdelningen för koreanska

    Author : Therese Angenberg Norin; [2018]
    Keywords : Media Conversion; Webtoon; Television; Adaptation; South Korea; 웹툰; 매체전환; 이웃집 꽃미남;

    Abstract : Although webtoons have become one of the largest consumed media in South Korea, and many webtoons have been adapted to both film and television, there has been a lack of research on webtoon to television adaptations. This thesis will investigate the specific characteristics of the webtoon that make it suitable for television adaptation using the webtoon I Sneak A Look At His Room Everyday by Yu Hyŏn Suk and the television series Flower Boy Next Door directed by Chŏng Chŏng Hwa. 3. 13. High Voltage DC Arc Detection Model

    University essay from Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för informationsteknologi

    Author : Bassem Farag; [2018]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : High voltage (HV) battery systems are widely used in many applications nowadays. And due to the safety concerns regarding lithium-ion cells, the safety of the lithium-ion based battery systems is vital. READ MORE

  4. 14. Behaviour of Boron Isotopes During Magmatic Degassing and Application to B-Rich Volcanic Glassfrom Lesbos, Greece

    University essay from Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Author : Konstantinos Thomaidis; [2017]
    Keywords : boron isotopes; volcanic glass; SIMS; magmatic degassing; Lesbos Island; borisotoper; vulkaniskt glas; SIMS; magmatisk avgasning; Lesbos;

    Abstract : Boron is a fluid mobile trace element and is routinely employed as a tracer of slab-derived fluids in subduction zones since the heavy isotope (11B) preferentially partitions into the fluid phase during slab dehydration. However, it has been shown experimentally that boron isotopes (expressed as δ11B) can fractionate by up to several permil (‰) during subsequent magmatic evolution and degassing at high temperature, calling into doubt the fidelity of boron isotopes in volcanic glass as accurate tracers of slab degassing. 5. 15. Evaluation of Measurement on Small Arc Features using CMM

    University essay from KTH/Industriell produktion

    Author : Renfei Lang; [2017]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : Due to the fast development of the tooling solutions technology, the manufacturing accuracy of inserts from Sandvik Coromant AB, Gimo, Sweden have been tremendously improved and they are hence focusing on enhancing the measuring accuracy of small arc features on inserts, because the measuring accuracy and method of the current CMM in the factory may not satisfy the requirement of tiny features. This report aims to investigate the relation between the measurement uncertainty and the radius as well as angle of arcs, through experiments, in order to observe the achievable specification limits with different radii and angles.
