  1. 6. Fracture strength of three-unit fixed partial denture in lithium disilicate, press versus milled, in-vitro study

    University essay from Malmö universitet/Odontologiska fakulteten (OD)

    Author : Hogir Ismail Ahmad; Noor Khazal; [2019]
    Keywords : Fracture strength; Three-unit fixed partial denture; FPD; Lithium disilicate; Conventional Manufacturing; CAD CAM; In vitro; Fracture mode;

    Abstract : Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att jämföra fraktur styrkan och frakturmönster hos tre-leds broar utförda i litiumdisilikat när broarna tillverkas genom pressteknik jämfört med frästa tre-leds broar genom CAD/CAM system.Hypotes: Pressteknik är bättre lämpad med avseende till fraktur resistens då fräsning av litiumdisilikat block kan resultera i defekter och spänning i materialet, detta gör materialet mer benäget till chipping/mikroabrasioner på ytan som skulle kunna propagera och på så sätt påverka fraktur resistensen. 3. 8. Synthesis of Nanostructured Silicon - Germanium Thermoelectric Materials by Mechanical Alloying

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för informations- och kommunikationsteknik (ICT)

    Author : Mohammad Shafiullah; [2015]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : Silicon-germanium (SiGe) thermoelectric material is especially suited in power generation operating above 700 °C to 1000 °C to convert heat into electricity. Traditional bulk SiGe alloy thermoelectric materials has the value of dimensionless thermoelectric figure of merit (ZT) at maximum about 0.93 at 900 °C. READ MORE
