  1. 1. Aircraft to Aircraft Connectivity Analysis

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Author : Vasileios Megas; [2018]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : It is very common to feel the need to be connected, especially in cases where we are idle, such as in airplanes. Aircraft connectivity has already been implemented by using direct air-to-ground communication and satellite communication. READ MORE

  2. 2. Scheduling Strategies for Relay of Mars Rover Data via Mars Orbiter and Earth Stations

    University essay from Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för system- och rymdteknik

    Author : Jendrik Jördening; [2016]
    Keywords : Mars Relay Network; ExoMars; Pass Scheduling; ExoMars 2020; ExoMars; RSP;

    Abstract : In this thesis, the relay communication between landed assets on the surface of Mars via a relay orbiter to Earth is studied for its latencies and the times which can be provided for the landed asset to work and for the ground to plan depending on the operational margins, the available ground station network and the available relay orbiters. In this context, an automated solver is developed to evaluate a locally optimal strategy of relay pass assignment respecting the different constraints and is proven to provide a solution close to the globally optimal one. 3. 3. Översyn av skyddsanordning samt nollpunkt för fördelningsstationen Fs Myrängen

    University essay from KTH/Elektroteknisk teori och konstruktion

    Author : AMR Elawa; [2014]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : This is a report of a Master’s thesis done in behalf of the local network in Stockholm, under Fortum Distribution AB. The thesis was to conduct a review of a distribution station named Fs Myrängen located in Täby. A model was created for the 11 kV network linked to the secondary side of Fs Myrängen. READ MORE

  4. 4. Analysis and Optimization of Transmission Strategies for Two Hop Networks with Multiple Antennas

    University essay from KTH/Kommunikationsteori; KTH/ACCESS Linnaeus Centre

    Author : MUHAMMAD NAEEM ADIL; [2013]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : Two hop relay based networks consist of three network nodes: source,relay station, and destination in which relay station assists the sourceto communicate reliably and efficiently with the destination. Moreover,these networks provide cost efficient solution for achieving highdata rate via cooperative communication between relays with singleantennas. READ MORE

  5. 5. Error Rate Performance of Multi-Hop Communication Systems Over Nakagami-m Fading Channel

    University essay from Institutionen för datavetenskap, fysik och matematik, DFM

    Author : Hassan Sajjad; Muhammad Jamil; [2012]
    Keywords : Signal Processing; Fading Channel; Multi-hop;

    Abstract : This work examines error rate performance of Multi-Hop communication systems, employing Single Input Single Output (SISO) transmissions over Nakagami-m fading channel. Mobile multi-hop relaying (MMR) system has been adopted in several Broadband Wireless Access Networks (BWAN) as a cost-effective means of extending the coverage and improving the capacity of these wireless networks.
