Opportunity Identification from a Prior Knowledge Perspective. The influences of prior knowledge in practice

Abstract: This thesis looks at opportunity identification from a prior knowledge perspective. Prior research suggests that prior knowledge influences an individual’s ability to identify opportunities. The main purpose of this multiple case, qualitative study is to find evidence, in practice, for the influence of prior knowledge in opportunity identification. In doing this, the research aims to find areas of prior knowledge that aid the identification of opportunities.
