  1. 1. The cosmological polytope of the complete bipartite graph K_{2,n}

    University essay from KTH/Matematik (Avd.)

    Author : Erik Landin; [2023]
    Keywords : Polytopes; Cosmological polytopes; Gröbner bases; Graphs; Polytop; Kosmologiska polytop; Gröbner baser; Grafer;

    Abstract : A cosmological polytope of an undirected connected graph is a lattice polytope which when the graph is interpreted as a feynman diagram can be used to calculate the contribution of that feynman diagram to the wavefunction of some cosmological models. This contribution can be calculated using the canonical form of the cosmological polytope, which can be computed by taking the sum of the canonical forms of the facets of a subdivision of the cosmological polytope. 2. 2. Mobile Application as a Way for Non-Diabetics to Visualize Blood Sugar

    University essay from Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för informationsteknologi

    Author : Erik Junghahn; Robert Paananen; Leonora Stiernborg; Fredrik Yngve; [2021]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : The amount of blood sugar related diseases is rising in Sweden andaround the world. It is estimated that over 15% of the Swedish population has genetically an increased risk to develop type 2 diabetes. In addition, bad eating and poor exercise habits increase the risk of developing diabetes as well. READ MORE

  3. 3. Finding Similarities Between Hierarchically Related Thema Subject Categories Using Embeddings

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Author : Erik Björck; [2020]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : In this thesis, embeddings have been used to find similarities between hierarchically related Thema Subject Categories (Thema codes), which are short alphanumeric sequences commonly used to categorize books. More specifically, the graph embedding approach known as DeepWalk was applied to three different models to learn similarities between Thema codes. READ MORE

  4. 4. Automating dataflow for a machine learning algorithm

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Author : Albert Gunneström; Erik Bauer; [2019]
    Keywords : Automation; Dataflow; Machine learning; District heating; Automation; Dataflöde; Maskininlärning; Fjärrvärme;

    Abstract : Machine learning algorithms can be used to predict the future demand for heat in buildings. This can be used as a decision basis by district heating plants when deciding an appropriate heat output for the plant. This project is based on an existing machine learning model that uses temperature data and the previous heat demand as input data. READ MORE

  5. 5. Epistemic Structures for Strategic Reasoning in Multi-Player Games

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Author : Erik Handberg; Lara Rostami; [2019]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : A game can be visualised with a directed graph, where each node is a game state and the edges are the players’ actions that lead to new game states. To obtain the winning condition of the game whilst avoiding the losing condition, the players must perform the correct actions in coalition. READ MORE
