    Abstract : Internal control of foreigners is a measure of migration control employed by the Swedish state, with two main goals: to monitor that no foreigners reside in the country without legal permits, and to find and detain foreigners who are to be deported. Charged by the government to increase efficiency in expulsions, the Migration Board, The National Police Board and the Prison and Probation Service initiated the cooperation project REVA in 2009-2014, which this thesis takes as its point of departure.
