  2. 2. Synthesis of Organo-Iron(II) Complexes Including N-Heterocyclic Carbene Ligation as Solar Cell Material.

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Centrum för analys och syntes

    Author : Salim Charkas; [2023]
    Keywords : Dye-sensitized solar cell; Transition metal complex; Synthesis iron; N-heterocyclic carbene NHC ; Organic chemistry; Chemistry;

    Abstract : The push-pull design has been shown to increase DSC performance through the introduction of electron-withdrawing groups and electron-donating groups, usually on opposite far ends of the sensitizer. The scope of this thesis was to synthesize several pre-N-heterocyclic carbene ligand analogs that are inspired by the push-pull design in an attempt to investigate their susceptibility to Fe(II) complexation. 5. 5. Flashlamp Annealing for Improved Ferroelectric Junctions

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Institutionen för elektro- och informationsteknik

    Author : Theodor Blom; [2023]
    Keywords : Flashlamp annealing; ferroelectricity; hafnia oxide; III-V semiconductor; thermal annealing; device performance; Technology and Engineering;

    Abstract : The effects of flashlamp annealing (FLA) on the quality of ferroelectric HfxZr1–xO2 (HZO) interfaces, integrated on InAs substrates, are evaluated. For the integration of ferroelectric HZO on III-V semiconductors the crystallization via rapid thermal processing (RTP) can severely degrade the HZO/III-V interface. READ MORE
