  1. 1. Review and Design Adaptations of a SrCl2-NH3 bench-scale Thermochemical Heat Storage system

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Author : Hjörtur Brynjarsson; [2021]
    Keywords : Thermochemical heat storage TCS ; SrCl2-NH3; system design; kinetics; absorption; desorption; octaammine; diammine; monoammine; pressure management; commissioning; Termokemisk värmelagring TCS ; SrCl2-NH3; systemdesign; kinetik; absorption; desorption; oktaammin; diammin; monoammin; tryckhantering; driftsättning;

    Abstract : Thermochemical heat storage (TCS) is a thermal energy storage (TES) technology used to store thermal energy for later use. TCS can provide heating or cooling services from intermittently available thermal energy, often low grade waste heat. READ MORE

  2. 2. Development of Visualisation Methods and User Interface for Analysis of Call Flows in Communication Services

    University essay from KTH/Hälsoinformatik och logistik; KTH/Hälsoinformatik och logistik

    Author : Leo Frössling; Oskar Hernberg; [2020]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : Abstract With the rapid increase of bandwidth and complexity in the network of communicationsservice providers, there is need for effective troubleshooting to maintain troublefree networks and in turn high customer satisfaction. An important tool in troubleshootingis visualisation of call flows and messages in the network. READ MORE

  3. 3. Using Search to Improve Visual Understanding and Appreciation of Process Model Diagrams

    University essay from Umeå universitet/Institutionen för datavetenskap

    Author : Daniel Vandolph; [2020]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : This thesis focuses on comparing four different layouts of the same process model diagram in terms of user understanding and appreciation. When the model diagram is aligned around the shortest path from start to goal, it represents the version of a process where everything goes as planned. READ MORE

  4. 4. Modelling the Production of Biofuels via Olefins Oligomerisation

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för kemi, bioteknologi och hälsa (CBH)

    Author : Nima Mirzaei; [2020]
    Keywords : Biofuels; Mathematical Modelling; Process Simulation; Oligomerisation; Fischer-Tropsch; Biobränslen; Matematisk Modellering; Process Simulering; Oligomerisering; Fischer-Tropsch;

    Abstract : The technical feasibility of gasoline and diesel range hydrocarbons production through oligomerisation of olefins, starting from biomass with the intermediary steps of gasfication, water-gas shift reaction and syngas-to-olefins synthesis was investigated, through mathematical modelling and simulation on Matlab. The model for the gasifier was based on minimisation of Gibbs free energy and its results showed that higher carbon efficiencies could be achieved at lower pressures and steam inlet, and more inlet energy, by pre-heating the gasifying agents. 5. 5. A Methodology to Validate Compliance to the GDPR

    University essay from Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för data- och informationsteknik

    Author : Axel Ekdahl; Lídia Nyman; [2019-11-19]
    Keywords : Privacy; Privacy Threat Modeling; GDPR; LINDDUN; PIA; GDPR compliance; Privacy Impact Assessment;

    Abstract : This study analyses two state-of-the-art methodologies for eliciting privacy threats in software contexts, LINDDUN and PIA. A first goal is to understand the limitations of these methodologies in terms of compliance to the provisions of the robust General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). READ MORE
