  1. 1. Machine Learning Model for Localization in an Urban Environment

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Author : Erik Wallinder-Mähler; Magdalena Björk; [2023]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : The indoor localization problem has seen great improvements during the last tenyears and today it is possible to determine the location of electronic devices, such assmartphones, with centimeter precision. The aim of this project is to apply similar localizationmethods on multichannel antenna data gathered outdoors in an urban environment andanalyze the viability of this approach. READ MORE

  2. 2. Spectromorphological Reductions : Exploring and developing approaches for sound-based notation of live electronics

    University essay from Luleå tekniska universitet/Musik, medier och teater

    Author : Hans Lennart Jonsäll; [2023]
    Keywords : live electronics; electronic music; electroacoustic music; notation; spectromorphology; typo-morphology; Sound Notation; digital musical instruments.;

    Abstract : In this master’s thesis, a sound-based notation system is explored and developed in the composition and performance of a musical work for live electronics. My approach builds on existing systems for electroacoustic music analysis, most notably Dennis Smalley’s (1997) theory of spectromorphology and the symbolic language of Lasse Thoresen & Andreas Hedman (2007) based on Pierre Schaeffer’s typo-morphology, as well as Mattias Sköld’s (2023) adaptation of this system for composition and transcription (Sound Notation). Abstract : Testing, verification and validation of sensors, components and systems is vital in the early-stage development of new cars with computer-in-the-car architecture. This can be done with the help of the existing technique, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing which, in the close loop testing case, consists of four main parts: Real-Time Simulation Platform, Sensor Simulation PC, Interface Unit (IU), and unit under test which is, for instance, a Vehicle Computing Unit (VCU). 4. 4. Risk Assessment of Digital Assets – Insurance Applications in Cryptocurrencies and NFTs

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Institutionen för elektro- och informationsteknik

    Author : Roberto Delgado Ferrezuelo; [2023]
    Keywords : Blockchain; NFTs; private key; phishing; floor price; rarity; cold wallet; hot wallet; risk premium; Technology and Engineering;

    Abstract : The aim of the project is to develop a framework for an insurance policy for digital assets. The project comprised several stages, starting with the identification of risks associated with these assets. Policyholders were then categorized into two groups based on a predefined rating factor. 5. 5. A Quantum Chemical Investigation of Chemical Vapour Deposition of Fe using Ferrocene and Plasma Electrons

    University essay from Linköpings universitet/Kemi

    Author : Felicia Andersson; [2023]

    Abstract : Thin films provide a remarkable asset, as depositing a thin surface layer can completely alter a material’s characteristics and provide new, inexpensive, and valuable properties. In 2020, a new Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) approach was developed at Linköping University, using plasma electrons as reducing agents for the deposition of metallic thin films. READ MORE
