Implementation of digital signing of documents. : In Alfresco Process Service

Abstract: In today’s society many tasks are digital and done over the internet. A digital worldhas a lot of benefits but also some challenges. One challenge is proving that someoneis who they claim to be. One solutions available in Sweden is BankID. In this projecta process for digital signing has been created in Alfresco Process Services, which isan open source business process manager. Signing was implemented with the digitalSwedish e-identification BankID. The goal was this project was to create a process forusers to be able to digitally sign a document and also for us to become more comfortabledeveloping in Alfresco Process Services. The goal of the thesis was to describe how theproject creation progressed as well as the implementation of BankID and problems thatoccurred along the way during the project.The results of the project is a functional digital signing process that implementsBankID. The process starts with the document owner uploading a document for signing into Alfresco Process Services. Then the owner sends out the document to thedesignated parties for signing. The receiving parties then sign the document by usingBankID on their smart phone. After the signing process the document owner will receivea receipt when the designated parties have signed the document.
