The effects of witnessing domestic violence on the daily functioning of children aged, 3 to 8 years

Abstract: Domestic violence, intimate partner violence, is a major social problem is the world.  This systematic study will discuss the effects on children who witness domestic violence and how those effect can be coded in the ICF-CY coding system, Body functions and Activities and participation. The effects of witnessing domestic violence were categorized by the contexts of ICF-CY, Body function and Activities and participation. The result showed that there are negative impacts in mental function, immunological system functions, digestive system, communication and interpersonal interactions and relationships. All effects can be coded with ICF-CY Body functions and Activities and participation.
