Abstract: This essay concerns the subject of women in management. Data shows that
women continue to increase their share of managerial positions: but
unfortunately the rate of progress is slow and uneven. Therefore, I decided
to examine the barriers experienced by a female manager and how a feminine
managerial approach, such as transformational leadership style, can be
effective for organizations to reach their goals. The essay is based on a
single case study, which were made on a experienced female manager working
at Forex Bank.
Based on the collected data, genders have different ways of expressing
feelings and emotions, and that the most important barrier to consider for
females according to my study is networking. The study also indicated that
females need to overcome their fair of being open, because females tend to
be more reserved and
