  1. 21. First principles DFT study of polyethylene insulation containing chemical impurities - implementing counterpoise correction

    University essay from KTH/Tillämpad fysik

    Author : Max Pierre; [2022]
    Keywords : Applied physics; HVDC cable; Polymer physics; Polyethylene; Density functional theory; Molecular dynamics; CP2K; GROMAC; Electron traps; Band gaps; Density of states; Tillämpad fysik; HVDC kabel; Polymerfysik; Polyeten; Täthetsfunktionalteori; Molekulärdynamik; CP2K; GROMACS; Elektronfällor; Bandgap; Tillståndstäthet;

    Abstract : Density functional theory (DFT) calculations of polyethylene (PE) HVDC cable insulation have been performed for systems containing four different chemical impurities: acetophenone, cumene, $\alpha$-methyl styrene and $\alpha$-cumyl alcohol. Systems were generated by molecular dynamics (MD) equilibration at four different temperatures relevant for cable insulation applications: 277 K, 293 K, 343 K and 363 K. READ MORE

  2. 22. Improving Warehouse Picking Performance by Using Contextual Factors and Lean Practices: A Design Science Study at Tetra Pak

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Teknisk logistik

    Author : Jennifer Andersson; [2022]
    Keywords : Warehousing; Lean; Picking; Performance; Production Warehouse; Contextual Factors; Value Stream Mapping; Bottlenecks; Wastes; Design Science; Technology and Engineering;

    Abstract : Problem Description: As warehouses play an important role in the supply chain and are vital for the success of a company, it is important that they operate efficiently. Thus, Tetra Pak wants to increase their picking efficiency for their production warehouse by identifying and solving bottlenecks and wastes that decreases the performance. READ MORE

  3. 23. Achieving aid effectiveness through results-based management: : A chimera?

    University essay from Umeå universitet/Statsvetenskapliga institutionen

    Author : Erika Nytting; [2022]
    Keywords : Development aid; Development co-operation; New Public Management; Results Based Management; New Public Service; Management theories; Governance; Results; OECD-DAC; Aid Effectiveness Agenda; Paris Declaration.;

    Abstract : New Public Management has been the prevailing governance model in public sector administration since the late 1980s. In 2005, OECD-DAC member states adopted the resultsbased management model ‘Paris Agenda for Aid Effectiveness’, building on new public management theory and values. READ MORE

  4. 24. ACCOMMODATION, CONTENTION, AND TRANSFORMATION – MAPPING THE FIELD OF GREEN TRANSITION POLITICS IN DENMARK FROM 2007 to 2020

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Sociologiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Sociologi

    Author : Mads Schou Jensen; [2021]
    Keywords : social movement studies; climate politics; field theory; green transition; strategic decision-making; climatization; Social Sciences;

    Abstract : Climate change has become an all-encompassing problem as CO2 accumulating in the atmosphere sets the pace of temperature increases in our rapidly warming world. In attempting to make society ‘green,’ environmental movements have pursued different strategies through different political constellations. READ MORE

  5. 25. Beyond Mean-Field Description of Bose-Einstein Condensate

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Matematisk fysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen

    Author : Daniel Larsson Persson; [2021]
