  1. 16. Learning across experiences: an ERP study of memory integration.

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Institutionen för psykologi

    Author : Oscar Haven; [2018]
    Keywords : memory integration context reinstatement; episodic memory; EEG; inference; hippocampus; Social Sciences;

    Abstract : This study investigated how individuals combine information learned across temporally separate events in order to make novel inferences through memory integration, utilising EEG to provide a novel investigation with high temporal resolution. Participants completed an associative inference task (Zeithamova & Preston, 2010) modified for EEG across three experiments, during which they learned stimulus pairs that shared a common item (AB/CB) along with control stimulus pairs (XY) in two encoding windows before being tested for their memory of these premise associations and, crucially, their ability to infer relationships between stimuli whose previous associated pairs shared a stimulus, but had not been viewed together (AC inference). 2. 17. RefStratERP – A Refactoring Strategy for ERP Systems

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för informations- och kommunikationsteknik (ICT)

    Author : Nikola Petkovic; [2017]
    Keywords : Refactoring Process; Refactoring Strategy; Architecture-Oriented Refactoring; Enterprise Application Architecture; Enterprise Resource Planning; Dependency Management; Domain Driven Design; Refactoprocessen; Refactorstrategi; Arkitektur Oriented Refactoring; Enterprise Application Architecture; Enterprise Resource Planning; Beroendehantering;

    Abstract : Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems are used to integrate all functions of an enterprise. They often evolve from a smaller monolithic object-oriented application, covering one functional area and organically grow over time in features and size until all functional areas are covered. 3. 18. Volitional and strategic retrieval-orientation adoption in reality monitoring: an ERP study

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Institutionen för psykologi

    Author : Nils Nyberg; [2016]
    Keywords : recognition memory; retrieval orientation; reality monitoring; event-related potentials; multinomial processing tree models; Social Sciences;

    Abstract : Retrieval orientations refer to cognitive states that, if adopted, tonically orients episodic retrieval attempts towards the sought-after type of information. Such orientations can enhance episodic retrieval by modulating the processing and effectiveness of retrieval cues. READ MORE

  4. 19. BRAIN ACTIVITY EFFECTS OF AWARENESS FOR EVOLUTIONARILY THREATENING STIMULI INVESTIGATING THE SNAKE DECTECTION HYPOTHESIS : INVESTIGATING THE SNAKE DETECTION HYPOTHESIS

    University essay from Umeå universitet/Institutionen för psykologi

    Author : Simone Grassini; [2016]
    Keywords : Evolution; ERP; EPN; Snake Detection Hipothesis;

    Abstract : Snakes are probably the best example of evolutionarily life-threatening stimulus as they have been one of the first predators of primates and mammals in general. In recent years, it has been shown that snake images produce specific behavioral and electrophysiological reactions in humans, provoking enhanced brain activity over the occipital cortex compared with pictures of other animals. 5. 20. Testing the Language Melody Game - An ERP, perception and production study of L2 acquisition of the Swedish word accent – grammar association.

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Masterprogram: Språk och språkvetenskap

    Author : Anna Hed; [2016]
    Keywords : second language acquisition; ERP; word accents; prosody; PrAN; LAN; language processing; Languages and Literatures;

    Abstract : Previous research has shown that L1 speakers use Swedish word accents to predict what linguistic material is to follow. This study investigated how L2 learners of Swedish process the word accent – suffix association. Low to intermediate level L2 learners trained this association for two weeks, using the Language Melody Game. READ MORE
