  3. 3. Improved prediction of biogas production at Uddebo wastewater treatment plant : Substrate modelling in SIMCA

    University essay from Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för samhällsbyggnad och naturresurser

    Author : Isak Gullman; [2021]
    Keywords : Anaerobic digestion; Biogas; Industrial waste; Modelling; Sewage sludge;

    Abstract : Anaerobic digestion is a complex process, dependent on multiple factors, which can be made more stable and efficient with the help of process models. A more stable process could reduce biogas torching, which increases the amount of renewable energy available for heat- and electricity production and vehicle fuel. READ MORE

  4. 4. Evaluation of Traction Control Systems for an Electric Forklift Truck

    University essay from Linköpings universitet/Fordonssystem; Linköpings universitet/Fordonssystem

    Author : Mattias Karlsson; Sebastian Johansson; [2021]
    Keywords : forklift; traction control; maximum transmissible torque; model following control; sliding mode control; slip; asr; tcs; mfc; mtte; smc; electric vehicle; master thesis;

    Abstract : This thesis evaluates different controllers for traction control on an electric forklift truck and has been done in cooperation with Toyota Material Handling Manufacturing Sweden. The need for a traction control system has increased with the introduction of lithium-ion batteries replacing the older lead-acid batteries, reducing the battery weight and therefore the downward force on the driving wheel increasing the risk for slip. 5. 5. Evaluation of bank erosion and stability analysis along Rönne å at Ängelholm, Sweden

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Teknisk vattenresurslära

    Author : Arnold Mate Kalimukwa; Abuzack Juma Mohamed; [2021]
    Keywords : HEC-RAS; BSTEM; cross section; erosion; sediment transport; deposition; bank stability; safety factor; Technology and Engineering;

    Abstract : This master thesis report presents the results of evaluation of bank erosion and stability analysis along Rönne å (river) at Ängelholm, located in south-west of Sweden within Scania. The main objectives cover building a hydrodynamic model, studying parameters that define sediment transport, modelling sediment transport within the river, mapping out erosive stretches and comparing to earlier observational study conducted by Norconsult in 2013, and finally conducting analysis of bank stability in most erosive stretches.
