  4. 4. Automatic Projector Calibration for Curved Surfaces Using an Omnidirectional Camera

    University essay from KTH/Optimeringslära och systemteori

    Author : David Tennander; [2017]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : This master’s thesis presents one approach to remove distortions generated by projecting onto non flat surfaces. By using an omnidirectional camera a full 360 dome could be calibrated and the corresponding angles between multiple projections could be calculated. READ MORE

  5. 5. Automatic projector warping using a multiple view camera approach

    University essay from KTH/Optimeringslära och systemteori

    Author : Viktor Åberg; [2016]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : The main objective of this master thesis was to construct an automatic method for calibrating a projector to display images on a curved screen without the images looking deformed from a certain intended viewing position. Since the method was thought to be used in a flight simulator, where the intended viewing position has an occluded view of the screen, the method needed to be able to handle these occlusions in some way, and the proposed solution was to use two cameras for the calibration; one in the intended viewing position and one with a more clear sight of the screen.
