  1. 1. Establishment of a deep learning algorithm for dosimetry of radiopharmaceuticals

    University essay from

    Author : Dennis Lipnicevic; [2022-01-13]
    Keywords : Medical physics; automated segmentation; dosimetry; kidney; nuclear medicine dosimetry; deep learning; convolutional neural network;

    Abstract : Purpose: The aim of this study was to introduce a volumetric convolutional neural network for segmentation of the kidneys in SPECT images and to apply it in the dosimetry of radiopharmaceuticals of this organ, in order to decrease segmentation time and to standardize the segmentation of the kidneys. Method: Three networks were trained using two network architectures and a total of 216 retrospectively collected images from patients that underwent imaging procedures at Sahlgrenska University Hospital between 2009 and 2018. 2. 2. Modeling and Interpreting CTG Curves from Labor Using Machine Learning and Pattern Recognition

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Matematisk statistik

    Author : Sandra Kandefelt; Sara Perklev; [2022]
    Keywords : machine learning; CTG; pattern recognition; labor; TOCO; FHR; Mathematics and Statistics;

    Abstract : The main monitoring method during labor is cardiotocography, CTG, which measures the fetal heartbeat, FHR, as well as the uterine contractions, TOCO. The CTG is a valuable tool in assessing the fetal status and it is evaluated intermittently by clinicians during the progress of the labor. READ MORE

  3. 3. Automated Digitization and Summarization of Analog Archives : Comparing summaries made by GPT-3 and a human

    University essay from Uppsala universitet/Signaler och system

    Author : Maja Linderholm; [2022]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : This thesis aimed to create a tool that could assist climate researchers in their fieldwork. Through dialog with researchers at Stockholms University a need and interest for automated digitization and summarization of their handwritten notes could be identified. READ MORE

  4. 4. Iterative full-genome phasing and imputation using neural networks

    University essay from Uppsala universitet/Människans evolution

    Author : Lotta Rydin; [2022]
    Keywords : Machine learning; Genotype data; U-Net; Convolutional neural networks;

    Abstract : In this project, a model based on a convolutional neural network have been developed with the aim of imputing missing genotype data. This model was based on an already existing autoencoder that was modified into a U-Net structure. The network was trained and used iteratively with the intention that the result would improve in each iteration. READ MORE

  5. 5. Prediction of the number of weekly covid-19 infections : A comparison of machine learning methods

    University essay from Högskolan i Skövde/Institutionen för informationsteknologi
